Last night, I just got into the mood of going outside for some fresh air. It was cold, and I had to wear a jacket before I went into the backyard. After walking for about 20 minutes, I sat on a platform to stargaze, with my feet dangling 2 feet from the ground. As I was gazing at the heavens, I look at myself and.. squeal!! I was in my grey and black tunic, black tights and boots, which reminded me of the Eddisian clothes which Gen refers to in KoA. I was like.. wow!! I'm living the series, complete with my legs dangling in front of me! (or acting plain stupid, as my sister would have told me).

Later, when I was getting ready for bed, I decided to finish my silly role-play. I put on my woolly nightdress (Eddisian of course), and tuck my feet in warm "Sounasian" slippers. Then I went to bed for a refreshing sleep!

The End.

OK.. It sounds weird.. but it was something if you get to experience it..

Oh.. I almost forgot.. I drew this icon thing for Gen and I would like to share it with you. Its not much, but I think you deserve it after reading the doings of a silly fan girl.. =P

I'm no artist or anything, but I hope you like it! Would love your feedback.

P.S. Please don't mind the spelling..

xD That's not stupid at all!

;; Maybe if I pretend I'm living in Eddis for the next month or two, I'll be able to entertain the idea of freezing to death with dignity. I hate winter.

BTW, your icon is adorable! ♥

Every time we do sword practice (with wooden swords) at the dojo, I think of Gen -- though I try to observe the protocol about not touching the "blade."

A friend (and fellow Turner fan) and I were at a party where they had these padded PVC pipe swords for sparring games, and we were going at it when she reminded me of Gen's trick at the end of KoA. I grabbed her blade between my hands, spun around, and pretend-struck her with the hilt. Everyone around us was like, "Wow..." We felt like such geeks.

Wow. Good for you. I love moments like that. Your clothes sound cool too.
A few weeks ago two of my friends and I were exploring the roof of the cafeteria of our old middle school (...yes, you heard me...). It was very gennish. (And I didn't even suggest it! And only one of those friends has read the books, and then only the Thief about two years ago, so it was honestly a coincidence... or Moira intervening.)
AND! then one of my friends said, "I feel like a mountain goat."
Happiness complete.

PS. Gen looks like he's glancing around cautiously: "No one noticed I stole that, right?"

What's the imagination for, if not to escape a little every once in a while?

Your icon is beautiful. :)

Welcome! And don't feel silly - probably we all do stuff like that :)

Yesterday my two younger sisters, some friends and I went to the Movies to watch The Princess and the Frog. As we were coming out of the theatre, someone commented on how bright it seemed outside, and my eight-year-old sister commented that our eyes hurt like Gen coming out of the prison in Sounis (in TT). "Only not so bad."
"We have taught you well, grasshopper."
