...GROUNDHOG DAY!!

Our own reliable, fuzzy, spoiled, Punxsutawney Phil has seen his shadow. So brace yourselves for another 6 weeks of winter. And that brings us to, um, lessee...ALMOST the end of March! Yeeha! I am counting on ACoK being delivered to my door on March 23rd, folks. I took 2 days off; I kid you not. I was called really weird. I need Mac's icon.

Did you know PETA is trying to get RID of Groundhog's Day?!

Indeed? Is it the same groundhog every year? If so, I can sympathize with it and PETA, but it IS only once a year, so that isn't so bad.
I mean, if I was that groundhog, I would complain -- no, whine!-- "people staring at me, all the time" ...!
Tiegirl, I hope you have fun with your days off (well, of course you will! You'll be reading mwt!), and I wish I could do the same with school.
Oh, speaking of school, my English teacher was talking about DYSTOPIAN novels today (we're gonna read 1984) ... !!!!! It made me feel happy, because there's nothing like a bleak depiction of the world to remind me of QT. Well, that's a lie, because EVERYTHING seems to remind me of QT.
Checkers, is that a good book? I've been meaning to read it for awhile.

Marcelo in the Real World? ( I just changed my icon, so I'm not sure if you saw the book I just finished, or Marcelo.) Anyway, yes it's very good so far--really different, funny and fascinating. I'm not too far into it yet.
