Help with geography

I am not one of those blessed with the ability to see book geography--or any geography--in my head. I have trouble navigating my way out of a paper bag. As such I don't really have a mental image of geographic details of Eddis, and I don't have time to comb through the books working it all out. So I thought I would come to my dear friends here and ask.

I am working on a project which involves the geography of Eddis. I don't need to know details of where they are, like a map, but I just need reminders of what all is in Eddis. I know there are mountains, especially the sacred mountains, the Irkes forest, and the Aracthus river. Anything else important?

I will post photos of this project once it is done, but right now I can't give any details.

It'd be more accurate to say that Eddis is in the mountains. The majority of the country is in the high-elevation valleys between the mountains' summits.

The Old Aracthus Road follows what used to be the Aracthus's course, so it runs along and over a canyon.

What I know (not much):

+ There's only one pass between Sounis and Attolia
+ Irkes forest is on the side of Sounis
+ The Aracthus is dammed in the mountains to form the Hamiathes reservoir
+ Road to the capital from Attolia following the Seperchia
+ ...gorgeous gorges?

Don't forget the valley with the crumbled, overgrown Meridite temple where the Hespira story was told!
