I've finally found a decent charm (not perfect, but better than anything else I've seen). I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do with it yet but, for now, it's enough to just hold it in my palm and feel all fangirly.

Charm bracelets are super cool. I wish this one came in sterling, but at least it comes in a variety of pewter colors.

Of course there's not much actually there in the text about her, but I don't see Heiro as having a crush on Gen. I think she just wants her country to thrive and be stable, and she's wise enough to know that he's their best chance.

Why, yes, Agh, it is. There are loads of actual charms, even pirate charms, and you'd think someone would make a real cuff and hook charm, but they haven't. I've been looking for months-both online and in real life. Whilst browsing through a thousand page beading catalog, I noticed some of the clasps looked like hooks. There are loads of clasps with hooks! Most don't have what looks like it could be a cuff, the ones that do have really unattractive hooks. This is the best one I could find and it comes in a variety of pewter colors.

Yes, I have spent waaaaaay too much time on this project. :D

You should make and entirely Gen-themed bracelet or necklace! (With a: mountain, inkpot, boot, sheep, goat(foot, if possible), earring, wine glass, cow (calf love), hand?)

Eddis muses on it. So it's very interesting that the woman he picks is the fanciest of her kind (in his eyes, at least).

I am so going to do this. I've seen hand charms, I've seen bee charms, I can get a square cut ruby-type bead (although probably not exactly what the book earrings look like), and I'll have to be on the lookout for others. I would LOVE an inkpot charm! I'm going to a gem faire in a month and there should be a whole mess of items.

We definitely need someone creating all these things!
