Book Spine Poetry

I found out about this from Scope Notes' site and thought I'd give it a try. Just arrange a couple of books so that the titles make a poem of sorts. This is what I first came up with but then I thought of making one about Gen and decided to post it here because you guys are the only ones who'll get it. Here goes:

This is fantastic! They're both great, but the second one is really adorable! :) I wish I had a big enough library to play games like this... plus, most of my books are at home and the ones on my shelf at school are stuff like "Groundworks on the Metaphysics of Morals" and "Nicomachean Ethics" :P

I haven't even read A Civil Campaign! I've only read Young Miles but I'm looking forward to reading the other Miles Vorkosigan books.

It's wonderful, you have to read it! And it is also - in something of a departure - screamingly funny. It's my second-favourite Miles book, the first being Memory.

It may take a while for me to read it because I'm missing some of the books in the series (e.g. Memory and a couple of others) and I want to get them first before I dive back in.

I still haven't read Ethan of Athos or Mirror Dance, because they were always out of the library, so I just skipped them. Memory is pretty darn integral to the rest of the series, though, so rading it might be a good idea!

Mirror Dance is apparently fairly essential too, thoguh, I'm told! I'm just an ill-informed fan. Which continent is 'here', if you don't mind me asking? Can you not get them in the library?

"Here" is the Philippines and we don't have libraries. :( Well, I think we do but not like the libraries in the States. In any case, I've never been inside one. I've only been to the libraries in my school. I have to buy the books that I want to read.

Very cute! You have a fantastic taste in books. Can I ask what edition of Beauty you have? I've never seen that one before and it's really pretty.

It's this (http://www.amazon.com/Beauty-Robin-McKinley/dp/0385604807/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1268490253&sr=8-2) edition. I actually got it in a used bookstore. :) It's a really pretty hardcover with a kind of parchment paper dust cover and it's red inside.

It was in the POB (previously owned books) section but I don't think it's used, just an old copy. Yes, lucky find! :)

Oh yeah, too bad I don't have a copy of Persuasion! Hahaha is it obvious? That's my "lending copy" so it's pretty battered because I've passed it around to a lot of friends. I wrapped it in plastic to keep it in good condition though. That's the best that I can do.
