A song for Eugenides/Attolia...

I realized I don't really contribute that much to this comm, so I decided I'll mention a song I recently found by one of my favorite Christian singers.

It's called The Thief.

So yeah, what do you think? I dunno, the title makes it seem like it's too good to be true, but I think the lyrics work. =)

I made a fanmix (http://community.livejournal.com/sounis/258216.html#cutid1) for Gen and Attolia a while ago. While I do like all of the songs and I think there are things about them that fit the pairing, there are a few that really scream this series to me: Let Somebody In (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB4cAyPylX8) by The Magic Numbers is SO Attolia, and also The Queen and the Soldier (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JIu_ptKHcI) by Suzanna Vega. The latter is such a beautiful song, and I think the queen in the song is so much like Attolia: young, ruthless, yet polite and soft in a way, and having hidden her humanity.

Also, I have to give you mad props for being a fan of The Fall. That is one of my absolute favorite movies. GAH!!
