Sorry to spam, but inspiration hit me and I decided to make some icons.

So, one for each book, made using the new cover art and the GIMP. Of course, anyone is free to use them. Crediting is not necessary. If you guys like these I could definitely make more, so please comment on what you think. (I could also change them if you'd like different words, etc.)

Can you make one using the artwork from the Megan Whalen Turner article in Disney Adventures? Those were the only pictures I ever thought really looked like Gen. I don't mean to post so much, but the thought seriously just hit me the moment I posted above.

It's a picture of Attolia holding the hook and cuff. You can see the whole picture here (http://home.att.net/~mwturner/QueenOfAttoliaAug05.jpg); it's really heartbreaking.

The quote is one from the Bible, sort of. I found the quote on a bible web page and tweaked it a bit. I think it originally went "Fire is the test of gold; adversity, of man" or something.

Oh, my. I saw these new covers for the first time a couple of days ago; really heartbreaking, indeed. I'm going to agree with fabricalchemist's comment, "holy crap."

Anyway, great icons! There need to be more MWT avatars out there.

I was confused as to what Gen was holding on the KoA cover of MWT's website! I thought it was a sword first, then a scepter and now a sword again until someone convinces me otherwise, lol

Actually, it's a sword. You can tell if you look at the full picture here (http://home.att.net/~mwturner/KingOfAttoliaAug05.jpg). The hilt makes it fairly obvious, but you can also see that the blade is a different color.

Actually, it's very swordly after you know what you're looking at. :)

Ah yes, now I see it, lol. I feel really stupid now for thinking it was a sceptor, lol. Is that the only Koa cover out there, or are there different ones?
