This was posted a while back, but there was some confusion about the correct address and Megan asked me to mention it here again.

Attention Diana Wynne Jones lovers!!!

Diana has been battling lung cancer, so let's brighten her day by telling her how much we love her books.  You can send her a note.  The correct address is:

Diana Wynne Jones
c/o Greenwillow Books
10 E. 53rd St.
New York, NY 10022

According to the bookshelves of doom site, you can also send an email message through the lady who runs her fan website:  http://www.leemac.freeserve.co.uk/index.htm

Done.

This is timely, by the way... as I finished Howl's Moving Castle just moments ago. =) I have no reasonable excuse for not knowing, loving, and obsessively rereading this book before now. Great stuff indeed.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! As a child I discovered (and very sad I was, too) that most of my favorite authors exited this world before I entered it and had a chance to say, "thanks!" So this was a good reminder to take every opportunity I get to send appreciation and encouragement to the people behind the great books in my life.

Thanks for posting this. DWJ is my favorite author after Megan. I JUST returned from the bookstore to buy her book that came out today. I'll be sure to send her a note.

Oh my gosh! I am so sending her a card! I have to go find a beautiful one. The Chrestomanci novels were my childhood!!! Everytime I went to the library I would check them out, I ADORE them. Thanks for posting the address!

Thanks, Checkers! I'll do this (and I didn't even know she had a new book RIGHT NOW, thanks, Lizzy!). On Saturday, my friend and I spent a really long time talking about DWJ books and how much we love them.

Thanks for the updated. I'm sure gonna send her one.
Hexwood is probably the first book that made me reread it straight a way due to the wonderful convoluted plot.
