12-year-old's review of Queen
Apr. 8th, 2010 11:08 amI was Googling to pass the time and found a review posted to cool-reads.co.uk by someone named Tim, which he wrote when he was 12 years old. We talk a lot about the way the books' target age group (9-12, apparently...) would react to these books, and also about the different reactions of girls vs. boys, so I thought this might interest some people! It's short but indubitably hits on all the major things about the story that makes me love it so much, like the plot twists and the fact that you have to pay attention as you read.
I read the Queen of Attolia for the first time when I was 12, too, but for the life of me I can't remember thinking anything other than "Holy cow! This is great!" I wish I'd written down my impressions or done some sort of book report, like Tim did. Anyway, enjoy.
