[identity profile] eme369.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] queensthief

Hey!
Just in case there is anyone who hasn't subscribed to the Greenwillow Books Facebook page I just thought I would post the link they put up today. It's a Shelf Awareness article all about MWT and ACoK including an interview (not sure if it's new) and bio. Yay!

Yes! I had been so certain she had read A History of the Peloponnesian War, because after I wrote my history paper on it (the war, not just the history) I was blown away by the parallels (come to think of it, this was kind of a year of QT parallels in history class - my other paper was on Elizabeth I).

What I wouldn't give to have been at the KoA manuscript meeting...

Thanks for posting!

... So does it give you any clues to what might happen in the next two books? Maybe I need to go read up on it.

I'm not the only one that liked Prince Caspian best! O happy day!

Prince Caspian was the first one I read - found it at a flea market, and within a week had bought and devoured the others, too. But I have a soft spot in my heart for it!

My fav narnia book kept changing as I read the series. First it was the LWW and then the VODT, then Horse and his Boy, and finally the last battle. I love the whole series so much, I can't choose just one now!

Grrrr, Megan gets to read the new Enola Holmes mystery before me... ):-/

I feel like my whole worldview now has to shift in learning that MWT is a Thucydidean and not a Herodotean...

Heh, I know. Love that Herodotus.

was that suppose to be a joke on the behind the scene? how the books took so long that even Susan Hirschman had already retired by then :P
Ahh that explains the dedication for QoA!!
