So I know this community loves songs with lyrics applicable to the Queen's Thief series, right? Someone may have already mentioned this one, but I just saw the Prince of Persia movie (which was better than I expected it to be) and the credits song caught my attention.

Man, I've listened to that song sooo many times (I work at the cinema and it's normally still playing when I go in to clean.)
It does fit doesn't it?

I saw the movie and got hints of Attolia (only small hints) from the actress who played Tamina. I think it was the whole calm mask thing and raises eyebrow thing. Then I heard the song and thought 'haha!'

And Dastan's roof-jumping scenes offered hints of Gen-ness, too. (I'm such a geek.) It made sense when I learned that the film stunts were based on Parkour, which is very much how I imagine Gen running, jumping, etc.

YES! I kept forgetting to post this here myself; I sought out this song after hearing it in one of the trailers, and once I was able to listen to the lyrics- and mind you I'm not usually one to automatically associate everything with Queen's Thief- but wow, I realized they obviously used it for the wrong movie.

I'm especially fond of the lines "How dare you wield such flippancy / Without requisite shame," because it is so very Gen, but really, the whole thing seems to suit them perfectly. <3 And it is such a very pretty song~

I really was surprised at how much I enjoyed the film. I think it had a bad case of Poorly Edited Trailer.
