queensthiefI understand from reading this group in the past that some of you are fans of Lois McMaster Bujold's Miles Vorkosigan books.
So when I was in the break room at work and found among the new prepubs an ARC of Cryoburn, I immediately thought of you guys.

Date: 8/14/10 09:45 pm (UTC)I would totally want that, except I'm still working my way through the series. I'm only on Mirror Dance (still waiting for it from Amazon!) so by the time I get to Cryoburn it'll be published already. But this is a great find.
And are you *not* a Miles Vorkosigan fan? If you haven't read any of them yet, I highly recommend it.

Date: 8/15/10 04:51 pm (UTC)I love love love Miles with a pure mad devotion, but I'd never marry him (not that he'd be interested in me, either, but...) I'd be pushing him out an airlock within a week.
I haven't read any spoilers, but LMB has always said that she plots by imagining the Worst Possible Thing that could happen to her characters, and she's been hinting for years about what's next for her most popular creation.
I shall steel myself and be brave. Cordelia would expect no less of me.
