So, I was just working on a  project for my publishing class where we are writing an author's bio. As a part of this we were given the option to look at a rising author and look at how their bio has progressed (or regressed in this case) over time. Of course, I picked our favorite author. I noticed that her old website is listed in CoK. You would think her marketing person would have the sense to ask if her website was still the same or try the address prior to printing. How else feels that new devotes have been denied a good source of information?

*shrug* It's nothing a quick Google search can't fix, and somehow I feel kids are more likely to go to Google than the back of a book for a website, these days.

Good catch! Perhaps it can be corrected when reprinted, and in the paperback.

Her website address was changed after CofK went to press. It was one
of those "circumstances beyond her control" situations.

Unfortunate, but how life rolls sometimes.

So, how did the assignment go? Hereabouts, mwt's the only one allowed to leave us all hanging.

They were obviously afraid of blinding the rest of the class with the awesome.
