Pegasus Release Celebration - Brea, CA - Dec 21.

Hello Everyone,
I would like to invite you to celebrate the release of Robin McKinley's Pegasus.
If the ARC and posters arrive in time,  we will raffle them off.

All attendees will be entered in a raffle for a SIGNED copy of Pegasus.  McKinley rarely travels or does signings so this will a very rare, treasured, book.

We tentatively have 5 attending and are bringing cookies, cake, maybe apple butter. 

If it's anything like other gatherings, I'm sure we'll be discussing all our favorite authors.

I'm a month behind on her blog, & reading about these parties. It makes sense that, when it comes to parties, members of sounis are leading the way!

I hope y'all had a big time, with plenty of mwt books on hand [read these while waiting for Pegasus II]!

*blinks* Woah, Brea's my hometown! I'm not used to seeing it pop up. And I was actually in the area for the holidays (thankfully, I couldn't have made it anyway, or I would have been quite upset I hadn't seen this earlier). I hope you all had fun!

Oh, darn. I thought you were still overseas. I had a great time. We had home-made applebutter, monkey bread, fudge, macadamia nut cookies, and wild berry cheesecake.

I also brought along a lot of extra books so everyone could have a prize. And of course, we discussed our favorite books, including the fabulous MWT. Several of us raved about her and encouraged the others to read her.
