OK, after reading about Hazelwillow's lovely dream, filled with awesome lights and colors, and trapeze artists (BTW, was Kristin Cashore one of them? She studies flying trapeze...)....Anyway, after reading about Eugenides' beautiful new garden, I thought I might tell you about an HILARIOUS NIGHTMARE I had!

My dream was not set in an Attolian garden, but in a lecture hall with no windows, rather like one of those at Simmons College. And Megan Whalen Turner was there! I could see her from afar! I wonder what she was wearing in Hazelwillow's dream? Flowing robes in bright colors, perhaps? In my dream, she was sensibly dressed in jeans and a green sweater (echoes of Simmons, perhaps? ;-D).

Well, I started this dream completely, ecstatically excited, because MWT was going to be reading the first chapters of book 5 aloud! What spoilerific bliss!! EXCEPT...I was trying to save seats for friends (Mary and Maria, etc.), but I couldn't ...because I was ACCOSTED by a TALL, DARK, and HANDSOME MAN (Nick Ryves, perhaps?). Who was also exceptionally scary, somehow or other (must have been Nick Ryves ... I love Sarha Rees Brennan's books, but they have NO RIGHT to intrude into my dreams about other books!). Anyway, this man just kept on talking to me, no matter what I did, and sticking right by my side, no matter where I went, and I was trying so hard to get away from him that I ended up in the wrong room altogether, where a wierd comedy about umbrellas was playing. I mean, please! What is so funny about umbrellas?!! So finally I managed to shake this guy, and then EVERYTHING WAS OVER! And I DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING MEGAN WHALEN TURNER SAID!

Can you imagine a more horrible nightmare? Missing all those wonderful chapters of the next book? Aargh! And then Mary and Maria came running up to me, having missed it all TOO, and they were going, "What did she say, what did she say?", and I had to tell them "I don't know." They were so stunned -- poor things!

I'm thinking I must be feeling guilty for not posting on Sounis in so long [LOL] So, here I am, to wish you all a happy Little Christmas (if you celebrate), and Happy New Year!

And I'll be posting something wonderful very soon -- promise! :-D
