So my husband was going through our cookie cutters, and ran across a few that disturbed him. Namely, a bunch of right hands of varying sizes, which my mom had had made off a tracing of my hand when I was little. (It was thing in the 80s, ok?)

My immediate thought: "We should make sugar cookies and just frost the wrist with red! And make one for Megan!"

Yes, I may be a little sick... also I think about this series too much. =)

I just read the short story in the paperback CoK. I'm definitely back in QT mode <3

I think that the Gen-hand-cookie is a fabulous idea! Make some from us (:

First: That is amazing. Please do that.

Second: Wow, you just gave me one of those moments where I realized that being born in the eighties no longer makes you part of the AUTOMATICALLY SUPER YOUNG crowd. In fact it makes you...three months shy of being a legal adult by default.

WEIRD.

PS I WOULD SAY MAPLE SUGAR FROSTING. Also you should do one where you frost the palm, so you can get that phantom pain scrape in there as well.

/thinks hard about dismemberment cookies.

Maple sugar frosting is an excellent idea! It's the right color and everything!

That sounds totally awesome, now we just need to find a cookie cutter in shape of a hook. XD

Heh, if everyone lived closer, it would be awesome if we could have a QT cookie exchange.

Actually, I know a really good sugar cookie recipe that ships quite well (the frosting is a little hard, but still oh so delicious). My friend mails them to me all the time as presents. And very few make it to anyone else. :)

Someone once made cookies in the shape of the characters, I can't remember who and Peggy got me people shaped cookie cutters as a hint and today I found them in my marathon of CLEAN ALL THE THINGS and now you just posted this! ahahaaha i'm pretty sure if you made a little hook out of wire and poked it in when the cookie was still gooey and 90% it wouldn't melt the wire but would give him a little hand.

Oh, that was me! They were pretty lame (as in: they took forfreakinEVER to make and were kind of stoopid looking) but they tasted yummy!

Megan would probably laugh and say, "what is WRONG with you people? Reprobates."

Also, it's not often I get to use the "torture" tag. :)

ABSOLUTELY. Just show us pictures! Unfortunately, if you want to give one to mwt, you'd have to send it to Norway now...

Megan is in Norway? Seriously?

Yup! So says her website. She's either about to leave, or she's already there. :)

That's awesome! I think it's a good idea :) And no, it is impossible to think about QT *too much*.
