queensthiefHello! I met some of you, lovely people, at the chat today and since I had to go to class I decided to doodle while listening to the teacher (yay for class doodles!)
Here are my drawings =)
Gen is a very hard character to draw, he just won't stop changing in my mind! So it will be a couple more tries until I get him just right... I didn't have The Thief book handy so I had nooo idea what Gen was wearing, I just drew the scene that made me fall totally in love with him XD "I clean up nicely, don't I?"
Attolia and Eddis are so much easier to draw... I had no idea what I did with Attolia's hair, tho lol
Anyways... I am very glad I found this comm (and the books! THANKS Jade!)

I have to agree with Alaris--Eddis's hair has always seemed a little longer. And curly. I like Attolia, though--especially with the one raised eyebrow. And the one of Gen's hair...*loves*

...maybe my court position should be something along the lines of "Court Ogler of Sexy Manflesh" or something. Though I bet Willow would object... :-b

and i agree that Eddis hair should be longer. and her nose doesn't look broken enough =P. but if i draw girls with such short hair they tend to look like guys. i'm still trying to figure out how your Eddis looks like a girl despite short hair. is it the big eyes and the lips thing? hmm. and Attolia looks kind of depressed if you only look at her lips.

Date: 9/21/06 07:50 pm (UTC)As for Gen, I can't begin to describe the glee I felt at seeing your Gen. He's extremely close to how I picture him, as close as it's ever gonna get, I think. And the "clean up nicely" line is one of my favorites, too.
Beautiful art. I love the nice clean lines, and all the little details you've included. :)
