A whole week of Gen

If you follow Greenwillow Books on Facebook, you may have seen this already.

Our very own chachic of Chachic's Book Nook is hosting a Queen's Thief Week!  Stop by her blog between Jan. 22 and 29 to hear from guests who want to share the Gen love, including some bloggers and authors--details to be determined. 

Chachic believes that "a week-long blog event is a better way of spreading the word about the series and encouraging more readers to pick up the books."  Agreed!  Those of you who have your own journals or blogs--grab her lovely poster, put it on your site, and talk about the series that week.  Then send the info to chachic and she will include it on her site.   Should be fun!

Be sure to check her site each day.

Yay, Checkers! Thank you so much for posting about it here. I can't wait to see what you include in your own guest post. I didn't even see Greenwillow link to the event on their Facebook page until you pointed it out.

I'd really like to participate, but everyone on my F-list is a member of Sounis and therefore already enlightened. Sooo....would a fanfiction marathon thingy count? I guess it would be more of a celebration of QT than really spreading the word...Is that OK?

Well, I have a fanfic in six parts already written that I was going to post soon any way, so I thought that I could post one part every day on my journal for that week, and then once that was over, post the whole shabang on the fanfic site. But if you have any ideas to get the rest of the comm involved, I'm open to suggestions!

Thanks! I just wanted to check with you because I know that some people have a problem with fan fiction, and I didn't want to do that if it wasn't something you were comfortable with...
