Andre Norton introduced me to SF and I will be forever grateful to her. I suppose it's not surprising that so many of the authors I love were inspired by her.
*'Coronets and Steel' by Sherwood Smith.

Date: 2/24/12 01:58 am (UTC)I wish someone would invent an anti-gravity bookshelf so that I could have several attached to every ceiling in my house, because there's no wall space left, and every shelf has books jammed sideways on top of other books. Though I find that the most insidious aspect of books is the way they _force_ one to keep reading 'just a bit more' until it's 2 am and one has to get up early to go to work....
It's obviously an Alien Conspiracy.
