Dreams

Usually I dream about the characters and actually being inside the world of Eddis, Attolia, and Sounis, but not so last night. Instead I dreamt that Megan DIED before she finished the series, and I was murderously angry at Megan for dying. I was convinced she had died on purpose, just to drive her fans crazy. So angry was I that I walked around in my dream telling everyone that I would "find her in the afterlife and kill her again" (direct quote from the dream, that was). Naturally, I woke up before I could put that plan into action.

Anyone else experiencing Queens' Thief-related dreams?

(Sorry for posting so soon after my last post, but I just reread the books, and the urge to talk about them is too great)

EDIT: I should clarify that I do love mwt and feel bad about having such a bad dream...I simply have strange, vivid dreams very often, and this happened to be one of them

OMG. This is too horrible to think about!! Haven't had any dreams but I do think sometimes, what If *I* die without ever knowing what happened to Ornon's sheep or the Magus's REAL NAME or what REALLY happened on the King's weddng night...like what?!

Not to mention when I started the series I read 1-3 and then book 4 came out the next year, this is my FIRST time waiting YEARS. *Misery*

I know, it almost makes you think twice about crossing a street, just in case you get hit by a car because if you do YOU CAN'T FINISH THE BOOKS. These are the things that keep us up at night!!!!!!!!! D=

By the way mwt I should probably mention that I do love you ardently and don't want you to die, despite what might be happening in my dreams...

Haha thanks =) I think I've read Ella one too many times, but just the thought of that book fills me with happiness and pleasant childhood memories.

Speaking of icons, I love your's too! Or at least I would have if I hadn't watched the Season Three finale. I'm off Downton FOREVER. Who knew you could feel so much stress just watching tv?!

And double yes to Downton Season 3. Classic case of a writer not knowing when to wrap it up (while it is still good, please, not when you stop making money from it). It makes me kind of sad, really.

Whaaaaat? You mean you would have them wrap it up before that got to World War II, that juicy apple so full of storytelling prospects dangling right before the writers' very noses?!?! *el gasp* [/sarcasm] They've probably been dying to get to WWII, god forbid they lose a chance to introduce some Hitler Drama.

I agree, I wish they had wrapped it up nicely in three seasons, rather than that shocking blow we just received from the finale. However, to be fair, I don't think the continuation of the show rests in the hands of the writers. That particular aspect probably falls to the producers and production company, and once you get to a "company" level (as all things must), it becomes all about the money. The Powers That Be will squeeze as much as they can from something as successful as Downton. If the writers refused to revise the story to fit more seasons, then new writers would be hired. And then there are those certain individuals who wanted to leave the show permanently, and the writers had to accomodate their absence in the show--hence that awful ending.

This of course doesn't change the feeling of utter betrayal we've experienced.

Sort of like all of George R R Martin's fans worrying about him dying before he finishes the Song of Ice and Fire books. Of course, he's WAY older than Megan (just so no one thinks I'm calling her old! Or strange!)
