Readaloud posts
Mar. 17th, 2013 08:16 pmSorry for this, but can anyone tell me where to find the audiobooks of the books? I cannot seem to have access to the readaloud posts. It tells me that I do not have rights to access it. Help is much appreciated! Thank you in advance.
P.S. Is there any way to read the Conspiracy Room? I see posts about it all the time, and it sounds fun, but I do not know how to use it. :(

Date: 3/17/13 12:36 pm (UTC)The fan audiobook readings are member locked, so you'll need to join the community, Sounis, that is, in order to have access. LJ FAQ 101 (http://www.livejournal.com/support/faq/101.html) can help you with that. If you've already joined the community, and it's still not working, Checks (our mod) may have to check it out and de-bug it for you.
The Conspiracy Room (the link is on the sidebar) is hosted by a website called Chatzy. It's a little different from LiveJournal, but still very easy to use. Just pick a username (we usually use our LJ handles or our nicknames so everyone knows who we are), and type in the password, which can be found here (http://sounis.livejournal.com/363861.html#cutid1) at this member locked post.
Hope that solves your problems. :)

Date: 3/17/13 09:28 pm (UTC)Hey, once you join, you'll be able to see ALL the private posts. :)
Do stop by the Conspiracy Room and introduce yourself! It's a live chat place, but protected in a couple of ways. People have to be a member of sounis to be able to read about it, and it's password protected, too.

Date: 3/18/13 06:42 pm (UTC)We have maybe fifteen? members right now who stop in with varying frequency (every day to once every couple of months). You'll occasional catch someone else logged in at the same time as you, and you might end up having a live chat with them. However, we general have an ever expanding conversation using messages left by different people at different points in the week (a lot like Sounis) and whoever is stopping in at that time joins the conversation and comments and discusses whatever book, character, or author we happen to be squeeing over at the moment.
You're not obligated to chat at all, and I sometimes even find myself just reading the messages if I don't have time to reply. Stop in sometime. It's lots of fun!

Does anyone else know more?

Date: 3/20/13 10:20 pm (UTC)On a slight tangent, I did buy all four books as audio books from Recorded Books.
