I started this months ago to practice painting in photoshop, which I'm still not comfortable with. I've been working on it on and off for awhile, and now I'm sick of noodling with it. So here it is.

This is gorgeous!! Painting in Photoshop, huh? Did you use a tablet? It looks great. I looked at the artwork before I read what you wrote, and I thought it was a real painting, acrylic or something like that. You are very talented!

Yes, with a tablet. I've been trying to use they same sort of process/thinking in my digital painting as in my traditional painting, I'm glad that some of it shows!

Well, lets just blame that on the greek statue I was looking at as reference. It was really old! ;-)

Just wanted to say, this is beautiful! Not quite as I imagined her (of course -- everybody has a different picture in their mind) but amazingly well done, & so expressive! You can really see her strong character. Brava!
