Are there some newish folks out there?  We'd love to hear from you--no one has posted an introduction in AGES.  So, tell us about yourself!  How did you find our favorite books?  Which one is your favorite?  Predictions for the future?  Any questions you're just dying to find the answers to?  Maybe we can help.

Tell me more tell me more.

Need some inspiration? Take a look at some introduction posts from the past.

(Hey!  I just realized that the girl in Grease is named Sandy.  Coincidence?  I think not.)

I have nothing of relevance to say it's just this:

Hello Sounis! Long-time lurker here! * waves *
I actually discovered this absolutely lovely series through my mother, who picked TT and QoA up on a bargain deal. She read them and liked them, so she passed them on to me. I was a bit skeptical (my mom and I usually have different reading tastes) and had recently been stuck in a rut of books I thought were “boring” so I skimmed QoA to see if the romance promised on the back cover was any good.

...I know, I’m embarrassed. I want to go back and smack my twelve-year-old self, because that’s pretty much *the worst* way to read these books.

Anyway, I was suitably intrigued to say the least, and went on to read TT and QoA properly and to properly fall in love with them. I immediately got KoA from the library and devoured it. It's has been my all-time favorite book since then; it never fails to impress me no matter how many times I reread it.

I found Sounis not long after that and I just… lurked. For seven years. Even though I never actually posted before, I’ve really enjoyed the discussions and insights and cracktastic fun y’all have been having here, I’m happy to finally join!

Hello! So glad you delurked! Sounis is such a fun community and an absolute godsend* for discussion and sharing... for the joy of it, of course, but also to help during the long waits between books. :) QoA is my favorite of the books but my husband's favorite is KoA like you. We enjoy "arguing" which is better but, really, they are both so excellent that it's more of a fan/love fest for the books than anything else.

*which god/s? one might ask... ;-)

Wow, I'm really late but I would like to welcome everyone who de-lurked recently (and in the past if I missed you). I'm not on Sounis much anymore but man, I love it when I do come by! It's such a welcome respite from the rest of the angst internets.

And, of course, such a wealth of information and deep-thinking and thoughtfulness, and...well, you get the idea!

WELCOME!!!
