I was just wondering if anyone knew if queensthief_fic was still functioning? Nothing's been posted to it since early December which had struck me as odd given all the Yuletide fic for the fandom. I sent my own Yuletide offering to the community on Friday for reposting and nothing has happened - obviously mods can be away or busy, but given none of the other Yuletide fics have appeared there I was wondering if it was no longer being maintained.

dannybailey is the owner of that comm and I haven't seen her around here in ages. However, she's never posted other people's stuff; usually folks just post their own stories there. Feel free to add a post there with your own fic, or with a link to the Yuletide fics.

Let me know if you're not able to post to that community and I'll see if I can get in touch with her.

I did that, it's stuck in the moderation queue, she clearly needs to approve anything for it to get posted.

Hmm, yeah, that's pretty odd. It used to be that people just posted there whenever they wanted.

I honestly don't recall whether I went through moderation last time I posted or not. But it does seem odd to me that none of the Yuletide stories have been cross-posted there so I'm guessing it isn't just me in the moderation queue.

Though maybe it is, I suppose its possible I'm the only comment-junkie writing Queen's Thief fic for yuletide.

I just posted an appeal to the mod there, and it posted just fine. So, here's what I think--if you don't include a hotlink to another site, it will probably appear on the site. I know here in Sounis, if someone posts and it has a link to an outside site, I have to approve it. So, you may want to redo your post without the link being a live one. Or, you may be able to put the hotlink in a comment, instead. Give it a try!
