What a blast it was! A beautiful drive followed by a few hours chit-chat with some brilliant people, then a beautiful drive home. But sorry, no news, hahahaha!

(except it's possible the 6th book may have to be divided into 2 books, yippeeeee!)

Well, I thought when I asked her whether she had the book and she said no, that that meant it had been sent to the publisher, but I'm pretty sure that was wishful thinking on my part. She did say she thought her fans might leave her in droves if she kept on dribbling books out at the current rate. So she thought maybe she should finish (or nearly finish) the series before releasing the next book. While I looked at her askance at this theory, I was unable to express any thoughts (what?! we would never! Wait, does that mean we have to wait for you to finish 3 more books?! okay we will! no wait dribble them out! ack i don't know but I know your fans are the most loyal and will not leave no matter what!) so I didn't give her any coherent feedback. Oh to have had a normal human there to interact with her!

(and yes, pixie cut, absolutely adorable and courageous!)
