We're wrapping up Thief Month today with a masked role-playing chat.

If I don't mark the character your signed up for as taken right away, don't panic! I'll be at work on Saturday, but I will be home well before the chat starts, so everything will get updated before we start chatting.

Rules

You don't have to reserve a character in order to participate. Just sign-in during the chat as an available character from the above list. Remember this a '"The Thief" themed chat, so we are only using characters that are present or mentioned in the first book.

I will try to keep the list as accurate as possible during the chat, but due to loading times and the fact I will be playing a character myself, there is always a chance you'll sign in as a character someone is already playing. Personally, it doesn't bother me if two people are playing the same character, however if the person already playing your character asks you to switch, please do.

Before you leave for the night, please unmask. We have to make sure your weren't MWT in disguise.

‘The Conspiracy Room’ is used by people of all ages, so please take note of the guidelines below before using the room. Most of it’s pretty obvious - be considerate towards other users and most importantly, enjoy chatting.

1. Though it’s certainly easier and faster to meet other fans of Megan’s books through ‘The Conspiracy Room’, many community members may feel more comfortable if new users were to join, and post an introduction on Sounis first. Though this would be preferable, we understand that not everyone can do this, and using the chat room without joining, or simply introducing yourself in the chatroom instead is fine.

2. Respect other users’ privacy. Don’t ask for other members’ email addresses straight away, and don’t ask about their specific locations at all. Talking about your own more general location (for example, your city) is fine though.

3. Be polite. If someone’s clearly uncomfortable with something you’re asking or saying, then stop.
