Heads-Up on New Editions

Just a heads-up for anyone who hasn't purchased their copies of the new paperback editions of Thief, Queen, King, and Conspiracy yet... they're all $5.92 on Amazon today! I noticed some were still $9.99 as recently as yesterday, so I'm not sure how long this fluctuation in price will last.

Darn, once I got to Amazon and clicked on "paperback" the cover image changed from the new ones to the old ones. I think I managed to order the new KoA at that price, but none of the others. :-(

Did it really? I didn't experience this problem... though I haven't received my books yet. I certainly hope they're the new covers when they arrive... D:

OK, not sure if this will help, but can you search for them on Amazon by ISBN number? If so, here's the numbers for the new editions:

Thief: 0062642960
Queen: 0062642979
King: 0062642987
Conspiracy: 0062642995

I had trouble finding them too, at first. Try searching for each one individually by title. They don't show up under author or series name for some reason...

Looks like they are all being offered at $5.92 right now. :)

Nope, it doesn't matter how I search--ISBN, title, author. It appears to be the new cover (Kindle version) but as soon as I hit the paperback edition, only KoA still shows up with the new cover. All the others change to the old cover.

I noticed that if I click on the Kindle option and then click back to paperback, it shows me the old cover. Weird! Can you click on "See all formats and editions" and get a drop-down menu? Here's a screenshot I took, showing you the options menu: http://freenarnian.livejournal.com/photo/album/473/?mode=view&id=13931&page=1 Both the old paperbacks and the new appear as selectable options.

Thank you!!! It gave me an idea when searching, and if I searched for "queen of attolia paperback" I could locate the new edition. Funny, but the price of Thief was more than the others--no idea why! But I had a gift card that covered it all so I think they will be winging their way to me soon! (or. since there's an Amazon warehouse not too far away, trucking their way.)

I noticed King was more expensive than the others yesterday. But I kept a sharp eye on it and bought it today when the price matched the rest. I love you Amazon, despite your vagaries.

Arg. Trying for the 3rd time to reply to you!

If you click on the picture for QoA, it says, "This view is of the Paperback edition (2001) from Eos. The Paperback edition (2017) from Greenwillow Books that you originally viewed is the one you'll receive if you click the Add to Cart button on the left." You'll have to check the others.

Thanks! So weird! I did that for me, but seemed to be showing the difference between the Gen-as-a-rapist-in-a-boat paperback and the Vince Natale one. Anyway, I think I got them and just in time, too. The prices are up today.
