I returned home this afternoon, with another headache, and sat down at my computer hoping to have a few story alerts and some interesting comments. Maybe even a review or two. What I found waiting for me was this. I blinked a few times, pinched myself a few more times, and then sat in silence for a few minutes, before beginning to type furiously whilst laughing in a slightly hysterical manner (or so my brother tells me). I'll let it speak for itself:

I won't post anything on the web. Because if I ever do, that airy

Ohio will be the gassification of my future career. It's bad enough
that I spend too much time reading
things on the web. If I started writing things there, I would never
write anything anywhere else again.
The stimulation of the web would be so much more fun than staring at an
empty screen. If you think
that you can entice me in by posting leading questions, you probably
could . . . but then, no more books.

Please say hello to fabricalchemist. I remember her letters well. You
will have to continue to ruminate
on Gen's underwear. I've only gotten as far as describing his
nightshirt.

Oh, goodness yes, I 've got questions and I haven't even got the book yet. Its so nice to know that one of my all time favorite authors has actually been reading our posts and stuff.
Are you going to start a question's thread when the time comes, or is that going to be on the Koa thread?

:D I'll start the questions thread as soon as everyone has read the book. Either just before or just after the live discussion. By the way, will you be participating in that? :) I don't want to tear you away from studying, but it would be next weekend, probably. Probably next Friday night. If you could make it for an hour or two, just post the details on the thread I started last night.

:) If you already have a yahoo account, it would be a good idea. I was worried it would take too long, but it only took a fwe minutes to set it up, and now it sits quietly in the corner of my screen. It depends on what email service you use. The chat may well be hosted on AIM now.

I don't have a yahoo account either, lol but I'll download it. I 've got MSN messenger, thats what most people in Canada use, I think. So will I have to add everyone individually, or something? I'm not sure how its going to work, lol.

A fellow MSN-er! That's what most people in the UK use too. Sadly, not many people on this forum are from outside the US. I think we may be the only ones. :) Yahoo is still our best bet if it allows for a conference. (Can anyone confirm or negate this for certain?)

I think you just go 'contacts', then 'add a contact', and type in the screen name. Everyone who's participating should be posting theirs on the appropriate thread before the time.

Speaking of which, I've just added you. :)
