My coworker, who works in our cataloging department, casually mentioned that she thought a book I had on hold had arrived in the shipment of new books.

*suppresses a scream*

I have a five day weekend starting tomorrow, so I won't be at work for the official release date, but she said it would be OK to steal it out of the box and take it home.

So I am.

BUT I'm going to be a good thief and NOT read even the first page until Tuesday. My plan was to reread the first four books again just in time to get this one, and that's still my plan.

I agree with ibmiller, but I also super admire your self-control not to read this until Tuesday.

I ordered the book online and had I sent to the bookstore near my work. When I got home yesterday there was a call on machine that the my book was in! Today I went all the way backdown to my work to pick it up. Now I'm sitting here trying to use self control and not read it to the release date. I think I don't have enough self control though and maybe will just open the package and peek inside.
