Blurbs...

I was thinking about the little advance praise blurbs that are on the covers of the books... The new editions in particular feature some pretty popular authors right now like Laini Taylor and Leigh Bardugo (whose books I'm rereading right now instead of TaT, oops!).

Got me thinking... has MWT done any cover blurbs for other authors/books? If so, which ones?

I'm reading a book right now called "The Glass Sentence" by S.E. Grove, and it has a blurb by MWT.

Yes!! I read the whole Mapmakers Trilogy because of her blurb, it’s an awesome series!

There was one about a girl and a horse, maybe, but I don't remember more than that.

That would be Megan's fellow Newberry winner, The Returning.

That's the only one I know of.

MWT was kind enough to blurb my debut novel KNIFE back in 2009, when it was first printed under a different title: "FAERY REBELS: SPELL HUNTER has the charm of Mary Norton’s THE BORROWERS and the edge of Holly Black’s TITHE."

And speaking of Holly Black, MWT just blurbed her (excellent) YA fantasy THE CRUEL PRINCE as well: "All that glitters is deadly in Holly Black's Faerie world. Readers will be positively entranced."

I didn't know MWT wrote a blurb for you. How cool is that? :)

Was it a content thing? I've heard a lot about the book but it seems like it might be too dark/graphic/etc for me.
