As I recall, we've had this discussion before, and it doesn't seem like we'd gain enough by deleting the LJ. I've heard there is a dreamwidth mirror, but I don't know where.

I mirrored the sounis site to Dreamwidth a while back but haven't updated it in ages. No one seems to visit it--I wish there was a good solution for a site that allows in-depth discussion (NOT Tumblr or Twitter) but also allows for moderation like LJ does. I just don't know what the answer is. :-(
