#where’s Eugenides part 2

I couldn’t decide which book this fit best so went back to the first one. I found this shrine while hiking a path along the Barge Canal in central NY and thought how fitting it was for a place for Gen to make an offering to the god/goddess of the shrine.

A shrine? What kind?

I don’t know. When I first encountered it last year, it had candles in holders in various spots near and on the stones. I had forgotten about it until I hiked that section of the canal trail a week or so ago and immediately thought of Eugenides making offerings at small shrines/temples when he was out and about.

Sounds really interesting. I just wondered what religion it might belong to. Anyways, nice pick! I imagine in the world of QT, the common people will probably build these little wayside altars too (not just actual temples), especially for small local spirits (nyphms? dryads?).
