Reread to Start Monday, Aug. 24th with The Thief!

Hey, reprobates! Just a quick reminder that our community reread of the entire series is starting this Monday, August 24th. It's just a little over a month till the release of Return of the Thief! YAY!

At the beginning the week, I will give you your reading assignment, along with a suggested reading schedule. You don't have to follow it, obviously. You do you, reprobates. This is just a tool to make it easier for everyone to finish the books before the discussion chats. They're more like guidelines... Yes, I know that reference is outdated.

A few tips-
(1) My schedules will have you reading about fifty to eighty pages a day. That translates to about an hour to ninety minutes of reading, depending on how fast you are. Use Saturdays and Sunday mornings as a catch up day if you get behind.
(2) Read the short story assigned each week first if you want to keep everything in perfect chronological order. Well, as perfect as it can get.
(3) Sunday evening chats discussing each week's book will be held at 6pm CT. There will be a reminder posted about the chats a day or so before hand.

My lovely books are all ready to be reread! I'm especially going to look for clues about what might happen in RotT. Especially now that I know a little something that was posted (under spoiler warnings) this week.

Plus, I haven't let myself read the books in many months, so I'm more than ready to read.

Me: Hmm, I really want to participate in the schedule so I will be well prepared for the chats. I should probably hurry up and finish the three books I'm currently in the middle of so I can really focus on QT.
Also me: finishes one of said books ... and immediatly starts the sequel.

There is no rule that says you can't read more than one book at a time... XD

I may've started early... (Hey, school starts Monday and I'm still working full time. It's gonna be a busy week...) Anyhow, I've made it a part of my routine the past few days to have an evening cup of coffee, which may or may not be Irish, and listen to Steve West's narration. His voice is super relaxing and Thief!Gen is so darn hilarious. It's been a lovely way to end the day!

Of course, but I also have tons of stuff to do (no doubt, not nearly as much as you from what I understand!), and FOUR seems exessive even by my standards. So when I start talking in the chat about how Gen's relatives invite him to their small cornwall island in order to help Lestat stage a coup in faerieland, you know its gotten to the point where I can't keep them all straight anymore.

Hm, sounds great, maybe I should try that audiobook too ...
