Not a Newbery, but still cool
Jan. 27th, 2007 12:25 amThe King of Attolia got in ALA's list of the Top Ten Best Books for Young Adults last year!
About time it gets something, eh? Knowing my library, I have a feeling it'll be listed on pamphlets all over the library now.
Before I forget, to give credit where credit is due, I got the list from Maureen Johnson's blog.

A strange thing about this book was that it's an adult book here in Australia but is doing very well as a YA in the USA. I hope librarians here know this and are encouraging teens to read it! I'm sure sensible reading adults in the USA already know that they can discover great books in the YA section of the store :)
