Ten days! I can’t believe it!
It really can’t be true
That finally we’ll know the fates
Of Gen, Irene, and Sou
-nis.*
Ten days! It’s hard to fathom.
I can’t say time has flown;
I’ve frothed and flapped and flailed and wailed
My zeal to know has grown.
Ten days! I’m sorely tempted
To hold my breath the while
But turning blue and fainting flat
Would be quite infantile.
Ten days! I just can’t stand it!
I want that book RIGHT NOW!
No more delays! I must know what
And who and where and how!
