Staff-created list
Books discussed by Newbery Honor medalist Megan Whalen Turner in Mill Valley Public Library's 8 Books Podcast (millvalleylibrary.org/eightbooks).

I can't wait to listen to it!

Not my library, but obviously an awesome one.

(BTW, I'm currently reading a "fabulous book with a hideous cover", but as it's Extreme Government Makeover by Ken Miller, I doubt anyone here is interested in discussing it.)

What's the date on this? Is it recent or something we missed in the past? Either way I'm looking forward to listening! Thanks for sharing.

I wondered about the date, too, since it says the QT series is "still continuing." But, heck, I'll listen to it regardless!

When I was a middle school librarian, those "fabulous books with hideous covers" were always such a hard sell. It was always great when one of those was reissued with a better cover.

;)

Just listened to it and I'm so glad I did. It would be fun to do a Chatzy discussion of a couple of the books she mentions. Maybe Dogsbody and Wolves of Willoughsby Chase. Actually, I will admit I haven't read any of the books she mentions, but I'd like to.
