Different language editions!

My new Italian edition of "The Thief" arrived on my birthday, hooray! 

And then my friend revealed that she'd done a ton of research online and eventually contacted a Korean bookstore in NYC (where she was going to a trip) to get me a copy of the Korean edition!

Wow !! These are so different than any of the US editions, both interesting and beautiful in their own ways. I mostly love how different Gen looks in each, which I think is so fitting given how differently everyone sees and imagines and thinks of him — both meta as in us readers and in the people around him in his own world. Thanks for sharing!

I LOVE the Italian cover! Gen looks like quite the pretty boy. And on the Korean cover, the Magus is apparently 100 years old.

Wow! What a great birthday! And what a great friend!

I think the Italian edition is particularly lovely. But I'm hoping to add the UK edition to my collection eventually. (At least I'd be able to read it!)
