I started re-reading the series a couple of weeks ago, with listening to the audiobook of The Thief. When I finished that I elected to read Q of A so I could get past the part that still gives me anxiety (I still want him to get away, even though I know it’s not going to happen and is essential for the story!) quickly and finished it with my usual I love this book! Now I am nearly halfway through KoA and have put it down for a couple of days. It’s going too quickly; I want it (all of it, not just this one) to last longer. Do any of you feel this way too?

Oh, yes. And for quite awhile I reread so often that I think I overdid it. The books were too familiar and had sort of lost their impact. I'm back to a good rereading place now, I can still appreciate the twists and turns without having it all pretty much memorized. :-)

I do need to reread RotT. I've only read it twice so far and am about ready to visit Pheris' world again.

I feel exactly this way. I just flew through QoA because I didn't want to put it down and now I'm already on KoA. I've read these books SO many times and I still don't want to put them down!

I try not to reread too often, or like Checks said, the books start to lose any impact. I did purchase, but still have not listened to all of the new audiobooks for the series. You've reminded me that I should do that!

Now that I have closure for the story, there is less of a drive to re-experience it, but I agree that favorite stories always end too soon!
