QT Details Spotted in Summer Travels

So, so, so, during our summer travels this year I noticed a few details that I wanted to share with y'all.

First up (way up) the Frieze of Amerian History in the US Capitol Building Rotunda. That's History sitting there to record events. But I think we all really know her name is Moira.



And apparently a fomer US president must have hosted a delgration from Eddis at some point, beause that's obviously her griffin on this tureen.



And even though my trip to Maine was 95% Moosepath League inspired, in addition to meeting @readsintrees for some QT talk, I also spotted these dolphins in the Portland Custom House. Railing and Ring both start wtih R, right?!



And, today was "favorite author or book character" day at work, so obviously I represented.



Oh, I found one more among my 300 photos from Maine... spotted at the Round Top Ice Cream shop in Damariscotta in case anyone needs to acquire it. (Or some ice cream.... I can personally recommend the blueberry and whoopie pie.)

Nice! I saw something on my travels, too, when I was in Williamsburg a few weeks back. They were selling toy wooden cannon. It's probably a popular gift for Eddisian kids during the feast of Hephestia. I imagine it gets a lot of smug chuckles from the people in Eddis.
