Newbie intro + question.
Apr. 1st, 2007 08:47 pmBuongiorno! *waves*
I'm a new fan, and I've only just finished - or more appropriately, gobbled up - The Thief and The Queen of Attolia these past three days, and today I managed to get my hands on a copy of The King of Attolia, so no spoilery posts for me just yet. But I would love to join in on all the merry Gen-lovin' here, if it pleases.
Quick question, though: Is it true that MWT wrote a Eugenides-centric short story for a Disney magazine? If so, is there a link to it on the internet?
Ah, my name is Kitty, by the way. Fantasmically psyched to be here! :3

Date: 4/1/07 02:00 pm (UTC)The Disney short story does exist, but I don't have a link to it. A couple awesome people here will probably hook you up with it shortly, because they're cool that way.
You will love KoA.

Date: 4/1/07 03:12 pm (UTC)There is a disney adventures story, but it isn't available anywhere online. I usually email it to anyone who wants it - I'm happy to email it to you, (and anyone else who reads this comment), if you send me your email address somehow. I know most people don't like to post their email address online, in a forum like this one, so if you email me at rowanatheblerg@yahoo.co.uk, I'll be able to email you the Disney Adventures story.
Enjoy KoA! And wander into 'The Conspiracy Room' (http://www.chatzy.com/339217442899), or just stick a post up here if you feel like chatting about it once you're done. :)

Date: 4/2/07 02:47 pm (UTC)Once you finish KoA, I would be interested in which of the three you liked best (if you can choose).
Oh, and .... what do you think of Costis?

Date: 4/2/07 02:55 pm (UTC)Costis = HAWT. OMG. I am especially font of soldies (being a cadette officer m'self), and Costis is just... well, to quote your icon, one hot piece of Attolian manflesh. xD

Date: 4/2/07 03:03 pm (UTC)And I know what you mean, about the Harry Potter feeling - it took me a short while to get my copy of KoA, but the wait was excrutiating. But now that I've got it I feel completely relieved. Thanks! I'll totally enjoy.
