Buongiorno! *waves*

I'm a new fan, and I've only just finished - or more appropriately, gobbled up - The Thief and The Queen of Attolia these past three days, and today I managed to get my hands on a copy of The King of Attolia, so no spoilery posts for me just yet. But I would love to join in on all the merry Gen-lovin' here, if it pleases.

Quick question, though: Is it true that MWT wrote a Eugenides-centric short story for a Disney magazine? If so, is there a link to it on the internet?

Ah, my name is Kitty, by the way. Fantasmically psyched to be here! :3

Hurrah! Welcome to here, Kitty!

The Disney short story does exist, but I don't have a link to it. A couple awesome people here will probably hook you up with it shortly, because they're cool that way.

You will love KoA.

They get better with re-reading! That's what's so brilliant! You'll learn/realise something new everytime you read them.

Welcome, BTW! I hope you like our little corner of insanity!

Hey Kitty, welcome to Sounis!

There is a disney adventures story, but it isn't available anywhere online. I usually email it to anyone who wants it - I'm happy to email it to you, (and anyone else who reads this comment), if you send me your email address somehow. I know most people don't like to post their email address online, in a forum like this one, so if you email me at rowanatheblerg@yahoo.co.uk, I'll be able to email you the Disney Adventures story.

Enjoy KoA! And wander into 'The Conspiracy Room' (http://www.chatzy.com/339217442899), or just stick a post up here if you feel like chatting about it once you're done. :)

You bet. KoA is best. I remember the DESPERATION I was in to get my hands on it! I haven't felt that way since Harry Potter, honestly. I read it in one sitting but with music (it slows you down, makes you concentrate) and it was like eating a bar of truffle chocolate by licking it in soft, slow gulps. Like a steaming cup of cocoa after a delirious day of exhilerating skiing. Like -
You get the idea. Enjoy!!! I am sooooo jealous of you!

Oops. I was so exhilarated by the thought of KoA, I misspelled exhilaration. Bother.

Welcome!

Once you finish KoA, I would be interested in which of the three you liked best (if you can choose).

Oh, and .... what do you think of Costis?

as awsome as costis is, pretty awsome, he is a little stupid and ver naive, but then again so is Gen in the first book, gen sorta grows up in the second one as everyone can tell.
But I have read these books so many times and have been killing myself trying to find a site with people who are obsessed as I am. and I have fiiiiiinnnnallllly found one :D

Yay! Welcome, tiloo! More obsessed people! There is a chat tomorrow at 4pm Eastern Daylight Time, if you are interested in getting to know some folks. The directions for the chatroom are on the main Sounis page.

I also agree...

I agree with the "these books get better with every reread" does anyone know Eugenides father's name? because i have been rereading all the books but I still haven't found it and I am so annoyed.
