I recently purchased the graphic novel, further diving myself into my obsession with the story and visual style. The 30 dollars was worth every one of the 80 illustrated pages of bliss...I think.

Having seen the movie first, I was intrigued by how closely the film followed the comic in every shot and angle (minus the intense scene of intercourse).

A little of subject. Has anyone read the graphic novel V for Vendetta. because I nearly kicked myself when I found out it was a graphic novel before it was made into a movie. I hate when you see a movie first then realize it is a book.
I punched the wall a couple times, before I calmed down. So if anyone has read the book first what was it like?

It's definitely worth a read, but you probably figured that from the movie. :) It's a bit more complex than the movie and things probably hang together a bit better. I don't think it ages too badly, but it's very obviously an anti-Thatcher product of its time. Having seen the movie shouldn't ruin it for you. They couldn't have done a better casting job than Hugo Weaving.

okay thanks, I will probably see if I can order it.
And it is good to know that seeing the movie shouldn't ruin the book :)
