This is mostly [livejournal.com profile] sartorias's fault, but a large helping of the blame goes to [livejournal.com profile] willow_41z for starting the whole thing. I begin to see why you guys are Reprobates.

Anyway...here we go with the world's first (I think, at least; I hope no one else is as insane as me) crossover between the Miles Vorkosigan saga and Megan Whalen Turner's Attolia books. On the Miles side, it takes place in some vague continuum between "Borders of Infinity" and "Mirror Dance", when Miles is 26 or 27. On the Attolia side, it takes place after King of Attolia but, obviously, before the unnamed 4th book!

Please ignore any plot holes or leaps of logic requiring massive suspension of disbelief. There's only so far you can go in explaining a crossover like this, after all...

It's a good thing some of Barrayar's First Colonists were Greeks!

I know I probably should have posted this in the fic community, and I'm sorry. But I wanted everyone to see it!

Didn't know who all the Vorkosigan people were but I can't wait to read them now!!

Oh, this was fun to read. I'd never have thought of using a wormhole. I liked what Gen called out first of all - will we see more of this crossover?

You can leave this one here, but would you mind posting the rest of the updates in the fic community? To be fair, most of us who are active on Sounis follow the fic community too.

This is delightful! We have to see at least a little more. Gen and Miles in a conversation/trying to outdo one another? Miles meeting Attolia (who would certainly appeal to his appreciation of tall, dark haired beauties)? Gen's reaction to Miles's short stature and enormous personality?

*sprinkles Sounis with additional plot bunnies*

Attolia appealing to Miles's appreciation of tall, dark-haired beauties could be disastrous... though I would be interested to see how he reacts to both of them on a personal level. As in, there's more emphasis on charisma, or something, than in the Miles books; in the Attolia books people are compelled into doing things by the force of others' personalities (like Attolia ruling is a big example) but in the Miles books that doesn't happen so much.

... I wonder if Attolia might remind Miles of his mother.
