(Um...someone who makes links that work, help me here....)
A little while back I wandered over to a post about the disappointing nature of much YA literature, on a blog called Ask Nicola. I recommended she try the Attolia books, and she did! She posted a review on July 15 under the heading Young Adult Adventure Redux. And she loved them! So, feeling very proud of myself now for connecting the right books to the right people. But feeling also a little silly because my links always fail...

Apologies for calling you Philis. It sounds rather like you're the King of a distant country (when clearly you're the Queen).

Date: 7/21/08 05:40 pm (UTC)It's a slightly more cynical answer to the question we've discussed before, of why the point of view of the books keeps getting farther and farther away from Gen. And it's a valid answer, but certainly not the only one (since we all came up with so many others as well!)
