The Sunday chat brought in some new folks, a new nickname, and the possibility of a Thief game courtesy of rowana's friend Iris (which, by the way, must be a guy's name in Britain). We know Iris is a Gen-like thief because he apparently hacked into the Conspiracy Room without a password. Something cherryblosomjen would be jealous of, I'm sure.

dannybailey was there with a new embroidered cape. The new nickname goes to Palace Physician Anon., who took the practice MCATs this weekend.

fabricalchemist was cooking a chicken for her Costis, and we shared tragic cooking stories. rowana almost electrocuted herself once and is still wary of exploding toasters. fabricalchemist put a doll in the microwave and created pretty sparks and smoke (years ago, not yesterday), and yes, I dropped a meatloaf on the floor once and then kicked it against the wall. Which some people still talk about.

If you have ideas for The Thief game, Iris wants to hear them. Post away.

Nice summary. :) And welcome to our new Palace Physician, whom I didn't get the chance to speak to much.

Iris (who is a guy, just slightly odd), does want suggestions and thoughts, and is grateful to checkers65477 for saving him the trouble of posting, because he still hasn't gotten the hang of Livejournal. Which is odd, after managing to hack his way into Chatzy. He's currently thinking of designing a game with several levels, and is working on how to incorporate a first person element. It could take a while, but I'll try to keep him going.

He also admired cherryblosomjen's little Gen. :)

Yes, excellent report, Checkers :) For the record, the chicken turned out awesomely.

Maybe we should post what our suggestions for the game were...that way everyone who missed it knows where we're going and what's been said, and has a good place to contribute, and Iris has a handy reference :) I can do graphics, if you guys want...I don't know how making this game will work, but I'm willing to do new pictures.

I'd do the Game Suggestions Post, but I don't remember what they were (I was cooking AND chatting at the same time) and can't access the backlogs of Chatzy. Does anyone else hate Chatzy? Chatzy's about to be introduced to the business end of the Bear Ruffle.

I'm begining to hate Chatzy too. Any ideas for other chat room alternatives?

(And, I've just posted the suggestions that Iris could remember on the main page. I'm sure there were more, but without the transcripts, there's no way I can check what they were.)

COOL! I feel so proud. ^_^ Iris is welcome to use him for the game -- or anything else he might want me to make.

And yes, bear I am jealous of the ability to hack. It is a skill that would'vew come in handy during moments I've since tried to forget. XD

From what I remember, we talked about it including characters from The Thief, Iris suggested alternate endings so the game would be different each time, it should include treasures like earrings, maybe Hamiathes' gift. Anyone else remember?

Ideas for the game... Hmn. First, is it going to take place during the first book (pre hook) or is it going to be "present day" (with Gen as KoA)?

I was imagining a level where Gen goes on an undercover mission to find and rescue Sophos from the clutches of the Mede/Pirates/whoever else could have him.

I'm so excited; it all sounds so cool.
