This Mock Newbery Club chose The King of Attolia as its winner.  The committee was made up of teen readers.  This is a large public library system in North Carolina, so it's got to be cool, right?

Thanks to everyone who commented on my earlier post. Some of you guys were having concerns about security in the chatroom. Most of you seem happy to keep the chatroom open to members and non-members - though the password will be moved to another post (which I'll stick up tomorrow) and taken off the profile page. The backlog will be deleted in a day or two, for anyone who wants to read back over anything, and I'll keep deleting it every so often. If anything does happen to worry anyone over security again, please email me, and we'll think about putting a few more restrictions in place. For now, this seems the best way to keep the chatroom open to everyone, including people who are reluctant to join livejournal and post to the community.
