Wow, it's been almost a week since this community heard from me! Can you believe? *laughs at own joke pitifully*

This is really just an idea thrown out there. I can't bury it in an active comment thread for kudos at first, like last time. Since it's pretty quiet today. ^_^ Also, I don't know who our gatekeeper/Mod Extraordinaires are, exactly, and whether they'd like me to ask first.

What do you think of having a weekly Open Topic Day? Or, more specifically, a weekly opportunity to discuss unThievish books in the context of that common ground?

See, I was part of a forum for Austen fans that had boards for each of the books (and their adaptations), Austen stuff in general, and then one about books at large. It was rather cool to see what other fans of Austen (a much WIDER group, actually) were reading, what they thought, etc. There was always other people with thoughts on them. I'm imagining it would be fun to do posts of recommendations, etc. for each other.
C'mon. Do I have some librarians behind me?

(I've always wanted to ask the Sutcliffe fans here what books of hers I should read next, for example.)

If not, well, I would love to have some book-friending. My LJ is almost totally about my writing and reading (as my more friends-geared blog is on another system where my friends are). Feel free to drop by!
