So has anyone here heard of the comic 'Unshelved'? Probably not. It's a comic strip about a library, that happens to be drawn by one of my dad's friends. Every Sunday they do a book review in comic format. It's a cool idea, and I love looking at reviews of my fave books. Case in point, this one from their collection 'Book Club'. I had totally forgotten I had ever seen it until I read The Thief. Naturally, having not read the rest of the books, they didn't fully get the epicness-that-is-Eugenides, but I guess he spends most of the first book trying to mask it, and they wouldn't want to give the ending away... this is my intro, so, um, hi there! i was introduced to the series by 'thelasteddis' a resident o' these parts. anyways, i read the series in a couple days flat and will be reading it again many times. my favorite book in the series is King of Attolia, but then i have a hard time picking absolute favorites. i think gen is totallly awesome (no suprises there) and i am thinking of being him for halloween, for he is by far my favorite character (of course). Um, yeah. So, um.. i said hi, and uh.... yeah. So, um... see y'al later!
