As so many have shown up in the [alas for me missing it!] post about a possible meet-up in London [England], I should mention that there are lots of cool conventions in Toronto, which Sounisians should attend, meet up, & spread the mwt love.

Hello!

Very nice to meet you all. I'm Shelver, a longtime Megan Whalen Turner fan. I was guided over here by the Queen's Thief Week brouhaha and was thrilled to see other people just as obsessed as myself! I have a lot of backreading to do to make sure I don't duplicate an idea that's already been analyzed to death, but I look forward to learning more about this community and how it works.

Anyways, YA Highway hosted a Valentine's Day Blog Lovefest today and challenged all their readers to write a valentine to someone (author, fictional character, audience, cat, whatever), and I chose Ms. Turner. As it's the only thing I know to contribute at this time, I figured I'd make it my very first post.
