Does anyone else here blatantly exploit their role at work to spread the fandom?
I'm lucky enough to be on the social media team at the Frisco Public Library (Texas) and we've been doing more book reviews this year. So there was an obvious choice for me.
Because I become incoherent with adoration when trying to convince others to read these books, though, instead of trying to write my own review, I decided use some of the very best things professional reviews have said about them instead.
If there's a way to link to a specific Facebook post, I don't know about it, and it hasn't gone up on Twitter yet (it should later today). But if you're on either of those platforms and search for the #FPLRecommends, you should find it easily. The caption is, "The word "series" doesn't do these books justice. Think "epic.""
In retrospect, I should have used a larger font size and I wish I had a musical soundtrack behind it, but maybe that can be a project that leads to an improved video. Anyone here want to help? (My skills are more along ideation and stats than content creation.)
